Lace Mamba Global and 1C are planning to publish boxed retail versions of the Off-Road Drive in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. The game is supposed to hit the retail shelves in the UK and Ireland on December 09th, 2011.

First official patch for Off-Road Drive is now available. The update optimizes multiplayer mode, fixes occasional crashes and freezes along with several other issues.

Please note that the update for Steam users will be fairly large due to nature of Unreal Engine and Steam update process. If you don't have an unlimited Internet traffic quota and/or don't want to update the game, you can disable the auto-update feature for the game by right-clicking the game title in Steam library and choosing the non-automatic update option on the Updates tab.

Today we would like to tell you a small story about the off-road championship that takes place in Thailand. We purposefully chose this country to be one of the regions to host the world championship event in Off-Road Drive. And we did not limit ourselves to just impression from Petronas Suvium Silverstone Challenge: the story contains pictures and videos from that championship, fresh screenshots and videos from the game.

Thai championship impressed us with its drive and energy. Hopefully it will not leave you indifferent either!

All the off-road vehicles represented in the game are subdivided into classes suitable for certain competition types, so the player will gradually acquire several specialized trucks to use in races. All vehicles abide by the international requirements appropriate for their off-road class.

All significant physical factors affecting the behavior of the heavy vehicles on tracks are simulated in the game, including suspension type and resistance of the medium (i.e. deep mud or water).

Virtual off-road vehicles have the same features their real counterparts do, such as special low gears, lockable main and axle differentials, all-wheel-drive, compressor for adjusting tire pressure, winch and more.

This is an example of a vehicle which was built specifically for Ladoga Trophy competition.

Until these days it is being used by various agencies throughout the world, and it confirmed its reliability and simplicity. Hence in many respects this car is so popular among the fans of off-road sport.

This car is designed for reliable operation in any environment, and it copes with its purpose for the second decade. Therefore this vehicle is used in various off-road competitions so often.

The Popular American SUV, which is appreciated by all fans of the ride on the off-road. The robust design and good maintainability make it a great car for the ride where the road ends.

The original design of this prototype was designed specifically for American competitions. One of the famous American SUV laid in the base of this off-road vanquisher, but substantial changes were made in suspension and other elements.

Due to this machine has significantly improved its ability to combat the most extreme off-road.

Special kind of vehicle that are constructed by the off-road fans, and they participate in American off-road contests known as Rock Crawling, and Rock Racing. While constructing these prototypes you must consider the matters of safety system and safeness of the pilot. As for other issues, you are free to use any design and any tools you like to go off-road.

The Samurai belongs to the Leaf Spring off-road class (vehicles with suspension on longitudinal springs).

This unique prototype was designed with the harsh conditions of Russian off-road competitions in mind.

Mass-produced off-road vehicles with 4WD drive and at least a two-man cabin (and original vehicles which meet the same requirements) belong to ТР-3 class. It’s possible to use wheels no more than 365mm thick and 920mm in diameter.

This vehicle is based on the mass-produced modern Russian off-road one.

The Hunter belongs to the ТР-2 class – it’s a serial production 4WD vehicle with at least two crew seats, specially modified for trophy raids. It can use wheels no more than 365mm thick and 920mm in diameter.

Thanks to its design, this vehicle is suitable for various competitions.

Mass-produced off-road vehicles with 4WD drive and at least a two-man cabin (and original vehicles which meet the same requirements) belong to ТР-3 class. It’s possible to use wheels no more than 365mm thick and 920mm in diameter.This prototype qualifies for Super Open competitions.
