App World has top paid app lists, a newly released app list, a top free app list and it also allows you to archive downloaded apps to microSD cards. The BlackBerry Tour 9630 has a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera with a flash. The camera takes OK pictures but not impressive compared with other camera phones in this class.
There is also a selectable profile icon in the top banner. My favorite part of the theme is the 2 OCD slots that allow you to house your most used apps. The graphics are stunning and all of the icons really stand out well. BBamped is by far the best free theme out there and possibly the best we’ve seen for the BlackBerry Tour. I am getting many email requests for free themes for BlackBerry Tour 9630 with OTA download links. Here you go all BlackBerry Tour users, load these themes and let us know which one did you like the most in the comments. Many of these themes also have versions for BlackBerry Curve 83xx, 8900, Bold 9000, 9700, Storm and Storm2.
Thumbplay has launched a free music buying app for BlackBerry smartphones. The Thumbplay app is free to download and the music appears to be as low as $.69 a song which will work on any device because they are DRM Free.
They say you can browse, preview and download music from thousands of artists directly to your phone, then play it from your phone, computer or any MP3 player. All MP3s are DRM free and can be downloaded over wifi, 3G or regular carrier networks.
You have to cautious when you deal with Thumbplay because they are famous for getting people to sign-up for $9.99 a month to get free ringtones. Read all the screen clearly if you sign up for their service. Thumbplay appears to be getting into the music business because ringtones sales are declining. It also looks like they offer a monthly plan for MP3 music, which turns up on your wireless bill. So we'll have to remind you to beware when you fill out any Thumbplay form(especially for ringtones.) You may pay less per song, but wind up paying more per month on your cell phone bill.

Okay, so we may have jumped the 'Thumbs Down' gun on Thumbplay. It appears that the RIM partnership has made them change their 'carrier-charging ways.' We were contacted by their PR dude who told us that the review we quoted was removed by BlackBerry App World because the review had no merit. All payments are made in the app via credit card or PayPal. They are sending us a screen shot of the payment process. You can read our rebuttal here.
